Dr Craig Woolward has joined the team at Parker Dental Care and brings with him, amongst his general skills, his special interest in endodontics.
Craig completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Witwatersrand in 1988. He purchased his own practice after graduating and remained in this practice until relocating to Auckland in 2005 where he spent nine years honing his skills. Craig moved to Melbourne in 2014 and is very passionate about dentistry and enjoys keeping up with the latest materials and techniques, regularly attending Continuing Professional Development courses.
In addition to his special interest in Endodontics, Craig has extensive experience in restorative dentistry, particularly ceramic restorations and crowns. He believes it is important for patients to be aware of the different treatment options available to them and make an informed decision that is appropriate for them at that time. He is a firm believer in the old saying ‘prevention is better than cure’ and feels it is always in the patient’s best interest to treat conditions as early as possible.
In his spare time, Craig enjoys cycling and photography and discovering all that Melbourne has to offer.
